Amorphous silicate
The silicon dioxide we offer here, which contains embedded water, is a volcanically formed amorphous silicate – unlike diatomaceous earth (kieselguhr). This amorphous phase of silicon dioxide is rare and in high demand in agriculture and industry due to its high porosity, high silicate content, fine particle size, low bulk density, and large surface area.
